We are excited to offer this page to showcase programs and events that our member businesses are providing. Some are open to the business community at large, and many are open to the public. Our goal is to provide a valuable benefit to you, our members.

Join Western Mass Hilltown Hikers Saturday, March 25th, 2017 at 10 am to Hike the Keystone Arch Bridges Trail!

Join us for the 2nd Annual Hike of the Historic Keystone Arch Bridge Trail in Chester, MA, narrated by Dave Pierce of the Chester Foundation. Meet at the Chester Railway Station, 10 Prospect Street, Chester, MA 01011. In the event of snow, we will meet at the Chester Town Hall, 15 Middlefield Road instead, as the Railway Station will probably not be plowed. Please be aware that there are no facilities at the trail and be prepared for mud, snow, and/or ice. More information is on the flyer here.

Chester On Track

The Chester Foundation, Inc will present their annual celebration
9 am-4 pm Saturday, May 20, 2017
throughout the Village of Chester, MA and at the Chester Railway Museum. The Chester Foundation sponsors a massive parade, Civil War reenactors, Blacksmith demos, CCC Camp, early Irish railroad reenactors, Train Show and Craft Fair, 1840 railroad station museum, 'onelung' steam & gas engine demos, classic cars, duck race, petting zoo, bounce house, and a number of 1920's era freight cars (including wooden caboose and 'Children's Boxcar') on display. Hikes to the first American cluster of stone arch RR bridges on MA first Wild & Scenic River, tours of a working granite quarry and archeological stone works, historic displays, food & more will be additional events of the day. Admission to this great event is FREE (donations accepted)! Join us on the third Saturday of May 2017 for this dynamic event! Mark your calendar!
