JLBA Membership Drive Contest
As many of you know, we began the 2011 Membership Drive in October 2010, which terminated in a drawing for a $100. gift certificate purchased by JLBA from a member business (see results of the drawing under "events-2011 Snack 'n' Schmooze".)
It was voted at Snack 'n' Schmooze to hold this Membership Drive Contest again for 2012.
To recap, 2011 members who sign up a NEW member (any business which hadn't been a JLBA member for 5 years), prior to 2012 JLBA Annual Meeting in January, get a free 2012 membership.
Each additional new member, who is signed up by any current member, will earn an entry for the current member, as well as the new member, in a drawing to be held at the 2012 Fall Snack 'n' Schmooze. Each JLBA member who renews their membership will also have one ticket depositted for the drawing.
So... each 2012 member who joins will have an entry in the drawing.
There you have it - Sign up a new member by August 15, 2012 for each of you to get an entry. Good luck!
The drawing will be for a $100. gift certificate to the JLBA member business of the winner's choice. The $100. gift certificate will be purchased by JLBA from the selected business, and awarded to the winning business owner.
2011 Snack 'n' Schmooze
Snack 'n' Schmooze, the Jacob's Ladder Business Association's annual fall networking event, was held Tuesday, November 29 at Four Main Street Bar & Grill in Huntington, MA. The local business people in attendance enjoyed Chef John Slattery's homemade chili and tasty repertoire of original hors d'oeuvres, with a delicious chocolate mousse for dessert.
The winner of the 2011 Membership Drive $100. gift certificate was Derrick Mason of Sign-Grafx Group, who promptly requested his gift certificate from Four Main Street. He then offered to buy a treat for everyone in attendance. Thank you for your generosity, Derrick!
Everyone was interested in the history of, and future plans for, Four Main Street, so Chef John Slattery gave an informative and enlightening presentation, answering questions from the group. Everyone had ample opprtunity to talk to the other business owners about their own business, and all agreed it was a great event.
Thanks to all who participated!
